About Me

My name is Jessica Bois; I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, Perinatal Mental Health Certified, and a birth doula. I provide evidence based and trauma informed care to adults and teenagers. It is both an honor and a privilege.

 

I use an integrative approach to therapy that goes beyond the traditional talk therapy model. I am not a passive therapist and our time will be used for more than simply “venting.”

 

As a PMH-C certified counselor through PSl, my aim is to provide a safe space, foster a supportive relationship, and provide mental health services specific to your needs while supporting those in their treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy & the postpartum period.

In addition, I am passionate about providing support to birthing persons and their partners as they venture into parenthood, a journey that they will remember for their lifetime. As a trained Birth Doula, I aim to provide continuous physical, emotional, and evidenced based informational support to birthing persons before, during, and after childbirth to help achieve the healthiest, most joyful and fulfilling experience possible.

As I combine my experience as a trauma informed licensed mental health counselor, my personal experience as a mom, my certification in perinatal mental health, and my training as birth doula, I will help you to navigate these waters, providing you with emotional support, and empower you through your journey.

It is my core belief that individuals, parents, and expecting parents can thrive by providing them with a strong support system, by replacing fear with knowledge through evidence based psychoeducation, by amplifying their voices, and building empowerment from within.
